Solo Travellers in Kalkan 19th to 30th April

Hi all,

I am off to Kalkan next week and staying at the Patara Prince resort. It's possible that I may be travelling and indeed holidaying on my own as my friend is currently ill and may be unable to accompany me on this holiday. Just wondering if there are any solo travellers out there who will be arriving in Kalkan at around the same time or indeed any groups who wouldn't be averse to having someone else tag along on trips, nights out etc. I'm 39, soon to be 40 whilst on my hols. Even if Suzette my friend is able to accompany me it would be great to meet others socially so please get in touch.

Well Happy Birthday. We won't be there but everywhere you go people are friendly. Try the Merkez which is where loads of people sit of an evening and watch the world go by, you will always find someone to talk to.
Call in and see Yardan the jeweller, he always has a nice glass of wine even if you don't buy anything.
Kaya Restaurant is also another friendly place both from the staff and the visitors.

Hi, just returned from my third solo holiday in Kalkan. I have no doubt you will be fine on your own and if you want company, every one is so friendly and kind. Ali and Janet Ozturk at the Kaptan restaurant are great (so is the food and view) and I can recommend the lady from Bali who works at the Pirat Hotel for a sublime massage to aid relaxation! Pop along to see Jane and her husband at the new Cafe Lyon for tea and a chat - they are lovely and most helpful. Tell them Cathy recommended you and you may even get a free biccie! Kalkan is so beautiful, fear nothing, just enjoy every moment, alone or otherwise. x
