 :D   Hey!

I have 2 flights left from my attempt to sell some wrongly booked flights - so have decided to take my 15 year old daughter on holiday this august.  We honeymooned in Kalkan a few years back - and loved it!!

So where could we stay that is fairly central and cheap cheap cheap....?  ::)
Looking at 10th - 19th August....

Thanks

Amanda x ;D

Had to make a last minute booking for my son a couple of years ago & got him into the Sevgi Hotel. Central, cheap, clean & friendly - it's got a write up on trip advisor too!

Travel republic have some good deals on hotels in Kalkan. The Samira, which is very central, is quoting £218 for the dates you are looking at.

like Sally, I'd recommend the Sevgi - very cheap and cheerful and a good size pool. Also, if you're not bothered about a pool The White House is very central - not sure how much they charge

Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Hi again...

I have a quote for Samira - bb - 221.12  or hb - 368.40  - tempting to go with hb - but with all those places to eat - will that be a mistake - does anyone know the quality of the food at the Samira?  x

Also - can you point me to an uptodate thread about the beach clubs - whats the typical cost for 2 for the day with lunch and drinks??

I haven't found an agent yet where I can get a quote for the Sevgi. ?  Any advice welcomed...

Nur also looks good -

The Samira price is soooo tempting though...

I wouldn't go HB, there are so many wonderful restaurants in Kalkan, I think you might regret it. You will be able to find plenty to suit both your pocket and your taste in Kalkan. We have stayed in the Samira many years OK, it is fine, centrally located and the bar area is good. We had BB and went out every night to eat. They do light lunches at the bar if you want anything at lunchtime. It is the sort of place where you will easily make friends and our youngest son is still in touch with people he met there when he was 15, he is now 22!

Amanda, we are in Kalkan from 13th August for 3 weeks. My daughters are 14 and 16 so if your daughter fancies meeting up with them send me a message and we will sort something out.

Currently have a duplex apartment in Kiziltas which we visit as often as we can.
