Poop Scoops

Following on from the 'dogs fouling the kalkan streets' does anyone know if kapsa or the Belidye provide 'poop scoops.'
 Whilst walking home the other day, my OH had the misfortune of stepping in quite a large pile of recently delivered to the street doggie dodahs. Whilst he did his best to scrape off the worst of it with his fag packet, we found ourselves with no alternative but to leave the worst of it on the street; where perhaps an elderly ex-pat or an unsuspecting local with poor eyesight could easily slip in it
 I haven't noticed any locals or ex-pats using 'poop scoops,' in kalkan
perhaps the Belidye are unaware that they exist!
Perhaps someone from kapsa, (who do a marvelous job, helping the street animals) could mention it to the mayor
Or maybe someone from KTLN could raise the subject at the next council meeting.

hel66 - Oh thank goodness someone else found a pile, unfortunately, was beginning to think we had imagined that smell on our shoes etc..............
