15 day forecast from Accuweather

Returning for our 3rd year to beautiful Kalkan but our first time in October. AccuWeathers 15 day forecast shows wind, rain and night time temperatures of 9 degrees!!
Anyone out there who can give us hope that the forecast may underestimate temperatures and/or advise us where we can buy woollies/warm clothes (in Kalkan) at a reasonable price instead of packing for all seasons.
Also need advice in the hope of beach weather as to where we can buy basic beach towels at a price we can dispose of them at the end of our holiday.
Cannot wait to feel the magic of Kalkan again and counting down the days ......11,10...

i have found accuweather to be by and large ...pants!! very poor accuracy..you can buy cheap clothes on the market if you need them

Accuweather forecasts are actually based on weather in the mountains behind us where their weather station is located.  I asked them, that's what they told me.  Thus, Kalkan may or may not get the same rainy conditions.  More often than not, we get only wind and a drizzle although yesterday we got a short-lived downpour.  Fall is here and early this year.

Thanks for the advice re warm clothes, Blue Lizard. However we arrive on a Friday and as far as I remember the market is on a Thursday so any other advice re woolies/warm clothes in shops in Kalkan would be appreciated.

The minimum temperature is for the middle of the night when you will be under the duvet or blankets.

Accu weather terrifies the life out of me prior to every trip never had a problem though as it invariably been absolutely wrong. Was predicting days of rain in July, didn't see a drop and every year predicts cool and wet in October. So far in all the Octobers I've visited (always early October) never even needed a cardi at night so can't see any reason for it to be different this year. Roll on the 7th of October

I tend to look at all the forecasts for the area where I am going on holiday and then chose the best!!! Quite like Weatherundergound though. Then I worry, then I get there (wherever it is I am going) and its fine
