Ossie and Sonia at the Swan now have even better facilities for watching your chosen sport. There are now three TVs, two mounted high on the walls, offering more space to watch and more choice too. Why not pay them a visit?

Actually, not a bad game that Leeds thoroughly deserved to win and why no-one from the Premiership has made a bid for Beckford is beyond me

We hope to be at the Swan in a couple of weeks - we're there for the World Cup qualifiers. Now that England have qualified, their games seem academic so I hope we'll be able to watch Turkeys' games against Belgium and Armenia instead.
The following weekend's Sky football may only be of interest if it's raining....

Thanks Nick, I knew Turky are now relying on other results to qualify, but hadn't realised it could all be over before they kick a ball in anger on the 10th....

That sounds less like making a day of it and more like making a night of it...I can do that.

BL when you're out in June...erm researching...the world cup will already be on, surely. Best get someone with time on their hands..and the occasional pass out (although not two days in a row)...no names mentioned...to check in advance so you can hit the ground running so-to-speak?
We go home on June 8th - out earlier for a friend's birthday next year and I think the first games are on or around then? We are there for the CL Final which has been randomly moved to a Saturday...what's wrong with a Wednesday night, I ask?
I assume the Swan will be screening the Champions league final next year, just to keep on topic

by picking those two weeks i am also sure of England being in it still!
