Having recently lost a friend through the dreaded C and another diagnosed i know how traumatic your job must be ...you earn every penny but i suspect that isn't what it's all about with people like youself who work in these difficult circumstances.....Buy your watch and don't listen to anyone!! ;)
People Of Britain.. When your missus asks "Does my bum look big in this? Never say "Dunno your blocking the light."... just sayin ????

 ta ta for now

You know,I may have been but I sadly no longer have my parents to check out the facts . It may however explain why for the bast part of forty years I have travelled to Turkey and always feel at home there. :-*

Sorry...can't ignore Misty's post - clearly directed at me.
You are entitled to your view and your moral high ground, Misty but to hurl insults at those who don't agree says more about you as a person than those you are disabusing....in my opinion of course >:(
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

No it wasn't directed at you I just think that its foolish to spend good money on fake watches, I deal in highend watches mainly as a hobby, there is very little money to be made anymore but it allows me to own various watches, this is why I feel strongly about counterfit ones and have researched the subject in depth.

Again not directed at you but in my opinion I think its a bit sad and shallow that people want to pass fake goods off as real to impress others.

I have no hesitation in telling people it's a copy..that way you won't get battered over the head when you leave the pub ... i mightl buy another this year..whats the point of spendulating £5000 on a watch and not being able to wear it? ;)

Misty, I would have prefered an apology as well as the explanation...but you obviously don't see what I see when you read the post :(
Like BL, I never try to pass off my fake goods as the genuine article. When other people mention how gorgeous my watch or bag is, I always reply "it's not a real one, you know!" :P
By the way, I also don't need these things to impress anyone...as you would know if you ever met me ;D ;D ;D >:D :-*

Agree completely, I have an amazing sparkly ring that everyone admires, but I always admit to it being a Marks&Spencers one!  ;D

My Franck Muller cost £70 four years ago
Only a fool would pay £70 for a piece of fake tat.......

That I believe is the crux of the matter, Misty.

Well its my opinion that its foolish to pay such amounts...they cost no more that £10 to produce in China which is where 80-90% of the cheap poor quality fake watches are made.

But I guess we are never going to agree on this one

I wear a rolex, valued at just over £6K, and I always tell people I bought it from a market in Turkey! Good copy they say!
