Well..for all you people who are just off to kalkan for some summer sun !!Iv'e just seen on ITV news that Rochdale council have put up there Christmas lights!!.....

Apparently...it's in order to celebrate some other religious festivals in advance of Christmas, such as Eid (which is celebrated by Muslims at the end of Ramadam and is seen as the Muslim equivalent of Christmas). Rochdale has a very diverse population and the council are just trying to accomodate everyone's beliefs

And they celebrate this with Christmas lights in Rochdale?..I'm from Birmingham which i think you will agree has a fairly large population of Muslims and indeed diverse cultures from all over the globe...Christmas lights in August? NO

they made a big booboo and are trying to come up smelling sweet instead of looking incredibly stupid

Errr when they are in the shape of angels and snowmen and santa with a bag on his back not forgetting the christmas trees (and bloody Rudolph!!) as many of these are i think it's easy to work out!!!

...actually when the X Factor starts and the kids go back to school..it is Christmas!!!!!! Someone should tell Costco, they've been selling Christmas decorations and wrapping paper since July...then it'll be easter eggs in December
