Monday Night at ADAMs

What can we say about last night?

Truly sensational...stunning?

Adem came on time at 7.20pm and we made the short journey around the hill. Our table was laid on the edge, looking out over the ocean. It felt a bit like Shirley Valentine. I could almost have got romantic! Lots of photographs....

Adem's daughter came and took the order as the sun went down - we went for Calamari and a stuffed aubergine to share as starters, then we took Adem's recommendation and had the slow roasted lamb shank and sizzling beef fillet for mains; OJ had the shrimp casserole. The Lamb came on fire and how his daughter didn't catch her hair on fire I'll never know!

With a bottle of Angora red and a few other bits and bobs, the bill was 165TL for the three of us.

We took our time and enjoyed the atmosphere. There were about 20 people eating and Adem would come and go, bless him, as he ferried people around.

About 11pm, we shared the mini bus back with some other folks staying in a villa up the hill. And then we made a BIG mistake....

The pool bar was open as we came back into the Nur and it was so inviting......

A fantastic evening and we WILL go back; not least of all, because Adem was going to show us his two apartments, which are available for rent at around £175 per week. What a location to spend a few days?!

So now its time for a Resolve and then a few hours by the pool.......before deciding where to go tonight.

I think we are heading for KAPTANS down by the beach.

YES..about 5 mins drive out of kalkan

It's right next door to Gurus on the Kas Road just past Kisla...Gurus is also a great place to eat or go for a Cookery lesson with Huseyin.
These two restaurants are real gems, in my opinion

Yes, must be the restaurant I noticed when we went to Kas for a drive. Must give them both a try, oh dear the waistline will be taking a bashing again, never mind!!

We love Adems too, it's really nice if you want to do something different and agree the views are stunning and the prices really reasonable. Just wear lots of mossie repellent, I always get bit there for some reason.

The one night I left off the repellant......and they got me 4 times, and Mrs A twice!

But it was worth every itch - even the home made chips were gorgeous!

Is Adams walkable from the Nur apartments?

Adams is only walkable from the Nur if you really want to build up an appetite.  It's about 3km and all on a busy road.  Just ring Adem on the number given above and he will happily come and pick you up - and bring you back at the end of the lunch or dinner.
