Picture framing
« on: August 08, 2009, 07:24:53 PM »
Hi All
We noticed last time we were in kalkan that a picture framing/art shop had opened opposite AK bank in the Yali shopping centre. We have some lovely photos taken around kalkan that we would like to frame and put in our apartment, has anyone had experience of using this shop or know of anywhere else we could consider?

Jayne,

We have used this shop just after it opened at Easter and on our more recent fortnight in Kalkan. It is excellent. We had 4 prints which we bought in the post card /book shop in Kalkan framed by them. They did an excellent job with mounts, frames and non reflective glass. The price was very reasonable and completed it all in one day.I would definitely recommend them.

best value by far that we have found is in Kas. Shop just to the left of Migros supermarket as you round the corner to go down the hill.

I used the one in Kas to have some canvases stretched, can't remember the price now but they were considerably cheaper than the one in Kalkan.
