Handy phone numbers.

Been to Kalkan a few times but never actually made a note of any important emergency phone numbers. I know that you can get 24 hour medication from the pharmacy but don't have any numbers for in and out of hours Doctors, Dentists etc preferably with good English also maybe the emergency services ambulance, police etc. Hope to Gawd we'll never need them but I suppose it doesn't hurt to be in the know. Last visit a young reckless Turkish lad skidded off his scooter on to the road right behind my Hubby's hire car, my Hubby helped him and took him to the medical center where they patched him up, thankfully only superficial injuries. It shook my Husband up although he wasn't directly involved, I suppose it brought it home that if we had some sort of emergency ourselves we wouldn't know who to contact in Kalkan. Many thanks!

The list of helpful numbers is in the Kalkan General Advice and Information Section at the top of the First time in Kalkan section.
There is lots of info in there and we are always happy for more helpful hints and tips.
