Someone that can do a pre-purchase survey

I'd like the peace of mind of knowing that the property is structurally sound. I believe that it isn't common to get these done in Turkey but I am quite risk averse and have read some worrying stories on this forum

I think you will struggle to get one and even if you do and it all goes pear shaped - what are you going to do...sue the person who did the pre-purchase survey....in the UK yes...but its not that easy or practical to do that in Turkey...

Sorry to sound negative - but you may just have to trust your instincts and shop and ask around and do your own research and then - you takes your chances like the rest of us and hope to god you arent one of the unlucky ones...  Turkey isnt the UK and things just dont work the same..!!!

Have heard of good lady laywer based in Fethiye. Her name is Ozlen Ozergin Sukayer. Has excellent english as well. Dont have any contacts for her though but expect you can find her on the internet.

We used "Everything Legal" in Fethiye to make a will at a very reasonable cost. As the name implies, I would guess that they handle pretty much anything. We too used Everythinglegal in fethiye for our wills - very nice people and much more reasonable than kalkan -but that is to be expected by travelling to fethiye or even kas...
