New this season is Mussakka the food was really good, so was the service big thank you to Mehmet, for making me and my friend welcome, I wish you and your partner every success. I hear that they are going to open in the winter which is good news.

Went went to Musakka when we were in Kalkan last week and had a delicious meal and lovely evening with Mehmet and his staff.

They have come up with a lovely touch at the end of your meal /evening but I will not spoil the surprise and suggest that you go and find out what it is for yourselves !!

Went to mussakka last night and have to agree food was excellent. It is quite a small intimate terrace with spectacular view of the bay. Mehmet was a most caring host. There was no surprise end to our evening there, we did however have a free drink to finish but this is not unusual in Kalkan. This is our fifth visit to Kalkan and once again we are enjoying the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere; we will definitely be back for a sixth.

Aaaaaaaaaaaah what a shame you didn''t have the "lovely touch" that myself and others had when we were at Mussakka 2 weeks ago.
I agree that nearly all restaurants in Kalkan offer a complimentary drink but Mehmet has come up with an idea that has a very personal touch.

Just back from Kalkan and we got the "personal touch". Certainly a very good idea.

The food and service was also excellent and prices reasonable

We ate there last week and it was one of my favourite''s of the fortnight, the food excellent, the terrace itself a little cosy and a touch warm, but worth it for the quality of food and service and that little surprise, a nice touch.

I''m intrigued too - we went last night and had a wonderful dinner, but no surprises. Wish we''d found this restaurant earlier in our trip, as we would definitely have visited more than once.

We went to Mussakka last night and had TWO surprises!
The first was when we got a mezze for two which had three of everything on it provoking arguments about who had how much of what!
The second was the same surprise that is hinted at here - nice touch!
Good food - best steak ever on the surf and turf - a bit on the cramped side though, especially when it''s hot.

I quite like the size of the restaurant, makes it more personal. Plus the little surprise at the end adds to this - separates it from other restaurants.

Mousakka is fab...one of the nicest of the new places and we got the nice suprise at the end...got a bit bent after drinks in Moonlight though

Yes, yes, yes, very good! Restaurant is perfect, very intimate and personal. We had our anniversary meal there and were spoilt rotten. Food was delicious and the service fantastic. Will definitely be back. Good luck to Mussakka! :laugh:We got 3 surprises!!
