Moonlight Terrace Restaurant

Does anyone know (or has been) to the Moonlight Terrace Restaurant this year? Is it open this season yet, as we have had no response from emails or texts from Osman the owner.

We post this, as we love this place, one of favourites, and has one of the best views over Kalkan.

(Not to be confused with the Moonlight Bar).

Haven't seen it open yet. I'll have a look next time I'm in Kalamar Road... actually it would be good to catch up with Osman... one of the best nights I've ever had in Kalkan was sitting in with his traditional Turkish band at the (now gone) Lounge Bar :)

We had also had one of our most memorable nights with Turkish music in the Lounge. Towards the end of the night with only a handful of people left we all decide to push tables together and spend the rest of the evening together. It was like the league of nations with a Turkish young man who works in the bank and his partner was English, people originally from Mongolia, Swiss people, the Turkish singer and us Taffys from sunny South Wales. At the end of the evening when the musicians had packed up, our guests who were under the misunderstanding that all Welsh people can sing, begged the OH to sing something in Welsh so after much cajoling he relented and gave them a rendition of Myfanwy. Just as well no-one was Welsh as he got a few words wrong, but he must have been OK as two of the women found it was quite moving and were wiping away tears, even had me filling up! Mind you so he wouldn't let it go to his head I made out they were tears of laughter. One of the most memorable nights ever, from start to finish, which nobody wanted to end.

My day of "naughtiness" is over! I shall return to being my usual level headed reasonable self.  :-XAs Clara 50 says in another post it's a beautiful day in sunny England, well it is in Kent, hope it is for everyone.
But before I start dragging my poor broken foot around for another day.....what does roflo mean MartynE?  ???

oh Babs, poor you....I feel your pain :(
I hope you will soon be back up and about - although I am enjoying naughty Babs whilst you have time on your hands ;D
Glad you are keeping up the Kalkan ladies tradition of broken bones in feet around this time of year.
Take care :)
PS my understanding of roflol is the same as Lizilu's

sooooo disappointed with myself, I thought I was quite 'down with kids'!
thanks for all the good wishes.....the things people do to keep in with the 'in crowd'
I'll continue to be a little naughty when it suits till I go back to work (hopefully) at the end of the week in order to try to make you lol and yolo!
Meanwhile as the weather here is amazeballs I think the foot and I are going to take the crutch to the village for a little stroll.....and maybe even see some real live people!
