I too have no problem with Omars brother and spending lots of time on my own too and never needed to avoid him - I just smile, say merhaba and walk on and he does the same - nothing would induce me to eat there - but he simply smiles and I walk on by.

Now different for the the guy who used to stand outside Breeze as was - but now - our way is clear (ladies and gents) and the coast is clear coz he is no longer at BBQ (as it is now known as) - so no need to put your head down and walk by as quickly as you can manage it!!

Cheers!

Hi all

I would only feel uncomfortable going past Omar Sharif''s if I had an experience like Jinfizz but as we have no intention of going in there now it doesnt matter.  :)

Hi,
The gentleman you are referring to is now to be found at Rami/Havana and can be seen most days outide the cafe at the roundabout.

Well, this will be interesting.  I am returning to Kalkan in September, and must search this gentleman out!
Lucky enough to have met Omar on many occasions, it will be nice to share some family history with his brother! :D

Roxie is the gentleman now the greeter at Havana?  I believe he has opened Par car rentals situated next to the Cafe roundabout.

Hi All,
Blue Lizard was asking about the guy who worked below the Kosk and then owned the Breeze! Am I right?
