Hammam
« on: May 12, 2009, 08:33:39 PM »
Good evening Kalkan, I hope you are having a relaxing time. :)
This is my first post. I am visiting in 4 weeks time. Arrive at 4 am which sounds grim so want to have exfoliation and massage on the first day to cleanse myself from work etc! I have seen references to the Atlantis. I don''t need anything fancy the massage is the thing. I would prefer a woman if possible but accept that may not be possible. I will obviously need to book in advance so am looking for advice and phone numbers  please. I am a woman in my early 60''s traveling alone so any other advice would be gratefully accepted.

kind regards

Tonik

Hi Tonik,

Welcome to EnjoyKalkan  :)

Have a look at the recent post about Lykia Hotel and Spa, it seems to have the best facilities in Kalkan at the moment  :)

Hi Tonik

If you don''t ''need anything fancy'' but want to concentrate more on the massage, then I highly recommend Atlantis Wellness which is situated at the back of Yali Supermarket in the Yalihan Shopping Centre, so very easy to get to. It is clean and well run and very reasonable prices.

The female manager is very friendly and excellent at massage, she pinpoints exactly from touch where any problems are and if you have a particular area that needs attention she will treat it accordingly. I always use her services when I''m in Kalkan even when I''m on my own, so you have no need to worry as a single female, you will be well treated, they are not offended to be asked for female masseur, it is quite usual.

There is a lovely hamam at the rear and a calming relaxing area for when you come out. There are 2 treatment rooms for massage and an outside area with ottoman seating if you wish to sit out and have cay. You can contact her on   Tel No: 0242 844 37 90  or email: kenan.turhan@hotmail.com

Enjoy your treatment and your holiday

Rosie
