Anyone seen a Hammam open yet?
« on: April 03, 2009, 08:31:56 PM »
Has anyone - resident or current vacationer seen an open hammam yet? I''m arriving on April 15th and would love to get a good steam and skin-scrub in at the start of my week. And can someone update me on cost please? Thanks  :) :) :)

Yes the Atlantis one is, situated behind the Yali supermarket. I think they said 100 ytl for full steam, scrub, soap massage, face mask and oil massage

Just to add to Mercimek''s post - the Atlantis Wellness is open all year round. For therapeutic massage, if you''ve got any particular aches or pains, the managaress (can''t remember her name) is very good and has put me back together again several times. Very reasonable price compared to UK prices, she gives me a discount now as have been going a while now.

It seemed to be open when I was there at new year  ???  I''ve been several times and have always enjoyed it.

Well I must admit Mercimet that I did drift off to sleep on more than on occasion, but I can assure you I was not dreaming of my visits there during winter! The place sometimes looks like it is closed but there''s usually someone around. I made a point of asking last autumn and was specifically told by the manageress that they stay open all year and I could come any time, so I have and had excellent service over the last few months ;D
