When we were in Kalkan a couple of weeks ago we spotted a shop on Kalamar Road being converted into an ice cream parlour.Hopefully it will be up and running when we go back in a few weeks. As I am an ice cream addict any updates would be welcomed.

if Heston Blumenthal was running it along with a gyippy tummy you would get bacon and egg flavoured ice cream and probably burger flavoured ...i kid you not!...me? i''ll settle for anything with banana or choccy

not necessarily a flavour but real Italian vanilla ice cream. Can''t beat it.

Is it in the place that had the jewellers/patisserie with the astroturf outside? I''m trying to imagine where it is ......Looks like it''s up to see ozzie in alternatif for starters and main.....then scuttle off for a bowl of ice cream!!......mmmmmmmmmmmmm

The ice cream parlour is very good. We went late one afternoon last week and they do all different types of sundaes. They also do cakes and pancakes too.

It''s well worth a visit as the Italian ice cream is scrummy.

Ever been to those Dondurma me with the large whippy ladles that torment you when giving you ice cream?just as you go to grab it they whip it away!! ggrrrrrrr!!

Bad news about the ice cream parlour.....the owner was found dead out the back..... covered in nuts and strawberry source.................they think he topped himself
