Sinking gulet

Any news on the sinking Gulet in kalkan harbour? it hit a rock off kaputas and holed under the waterline,it pulled into kalkan and started to sink...was it saved or did it go under?

I love these old boats so much work goes into them and they have so much about them ..every creak seems to tell a story ..it''s sad when any boat sinks but somehow these gentlemen of the sea seem almost invincible ..just goes to show?  hope they saved it!!

Have a look on KLTN - yes it did go under but no crew or passengers onboard - still sad though.

I was there when it happened , the story is that the generater stopped working , so they all went below to see why , including the skipper , no one was steering hense they chased in to the rocks ! what a set of numties !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were told by a waiter at the Akin restaurant that the captain was having his wicked way with a lady in his cabin when the crash happened! I like that story better than a steering failure!
