Accommodation Help!!!
« on: April 16, 2009, 12:56:17 PM »
Hello all, this is my first post and I hope the forum may be of use.
I am a single traveller and friends staying in Kelebek, but may want some level of independence. Could you advise if there are any accommodations within very close proximity of Kelebek that I could consider. Have seen so many: Lizo Pension, Samira Hotel, samira Garden, Dionysia, Elixir, Rhapsody Boutique etcetc. ut struggled to find an ''accommodation map''

Thank you in advance, sarah

Hi sarah

Closest to the Kelebek would be the Samira or the Nur (roughly 200 metres) next would come Samira Gardens 300m Dionysia 350m Lizo is down Kalamar Rd & would be about 3K. Also bear in mind that the Kelebek is up towards the main rd at back of thursday market so is uphill from all other hotels.

There are a number of properties with Samira in the name, could I confirm you refer to Samira Hotel and Apart?
Also, would you recommend this accommodation for singles?
Many thanks

Sarah,

It is the Samira Deluxe that is nearer to the Kelebek.

We''ve stayed there and the staff are very friendly and helpful.  Some people think this part of Kalkan is too far from town but we love it because it''s higher so you get great views and because it''s cooler - not sure I would want to walk on my own back up from town tho - because street lighting isn''t great and it is steep on the way back up.

Hope that helps?
Currently have a duplex apartment in Kiziltas which we visit as often as we can.

Thank you so much for all your help - unfortunately i am rather impatient, and then saw a room available at Kelebek and well thats booked now. I was concerned becasue I didnt want to be a burden on friends in family and couples celebrating a wedding so thought if i stayed elsewhere they wouldnt have to bother with me! (get the violins out)...  but they are probably right best to stay with them all. Now i need to decide if I can keep it a secret till September to suproise the bride!

Hi Sarah - I''ve stayed in both the Dionysia and the Samira Garden as a single female traveller and have been fine in both.
