Currency Exchange Rate

We''re out in a few weeks time, can anyone tell me what the ''in town'' exchange rate is?

Currently 2.4 in the UK

Go to www.doviz.com, the exchange rate is updated about every five minutes.  And you can always check on Deniz Bank site too, www.denizbank.com.  The rate has gradually crept up over the last couple of weeks.

Hope this helps.

Although bear in mind that whatever the bank exchange rate is won''t be what you get at the counter, often the exchange at the ATM is 5 krs or so better than at the counter.

In response to your e-mail, and I am sure it has been covered somewhere - but do you advise getting money out of the ATM (I have a nationwide card) in Kalkan for a good rate as opposed to doing it in the UK ?

Thanks :)

Absolutely yes! Have done this for several years now and the exchange rate has been consistently better than anywhere else
