Best to exchange currency in Uk or Kalkan..??

We're just about to set off tomorrow and wondering wether we'll get a better excahange rate chNging money in Kalkan or back here in UK...any advice??
We've always changed money before we go, but reading things on here, wondering wether it's always better over there?

I always do it in the bank in Kalkan .
IS bank I got between 2.93 and 3.01 week before last ..
It's opposite Deniz bank

Most hotels offer between 2.86 and 2.88. Unless you're changing thousands it isn't a life changing difference.

Hi just got back from kalkan we got 2.98 in the bank on 24 June last night in town it was 2.85

We have been back a week now  and we were getting 300 liras in the jewellers  and restaurants . Take sterling with you oh and have a great time .
