My favourite shop in kalkan is the silvershop going down the hill. The lady who has all cats owns it .Watch out for the white cat its a tiger in disguise.Sorry I don''t know what the shop is called or the lady who owns it. :) :) ??? ???

I get lost in Just Silver...Halit is very hospitable and always offers drinks when it looks like exhaustion and dehydration are setting in !!! Dreading my girls going in there this year..we will spend a fortune. Not sure which shop you are referring to, kalkancrazy? I do really love the silver designs I''ve bought in Turkey over the years.
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

I think Kalkancrazy may be referring to Koseleci Gift Shop which is on the right hand side as you walk down to the harbour - she sells quite a bit of amber and I always manage to treat myself to one or two bits from there.

I love to visit there too - to see the cats as well as the jewellery.  I don''t tend to buy the more expensive stuff but always find something that I like to buy and jut enjoy time spent browsing in the shop.

I slink my way around the cats as they''re SO anti-social, but I have to say that the Koseleci Gift Shop is absolutely my favourite jewellery shop. And I must also confess that, in the moist heat of an August night, the mega-efficient air-con is a refreshing pit-stop on the walk down to the harbour and makes me look semi-presentable again- even though it''s cost me a fortune in lovely stuff as a consequence!!! :)

And so helpful.  I bought a necklace about 5 years ago (not amber) and I wanted a ring to go with it last year.  She didn''t have any made up but had some of the stones in various shapes and sizes.  I picked the stone I wanted and described the setting as best I could as I hadn''t brought the necklace out with me.  It was ready the next day.  When I got it home it matches perfectly  :D
