While you wait for BK or McDs to arrive, I will happily take orders for the new Pot Noodle flavour now being advertised on British TV - wait for it - Doner Kebab!!!.  I kid you not.

Hi all.and interesting subject...had a great laugh reading through the many replies..so here is mind..the other day driving home to Antalya from Cirali ..we stopped in Kemer and low and behold there is now a BK in Kemer..actually my kids who had seen the sign from the D-400 road...wanted to stop there for a quick dinner and yes I couldn''t be bothered to cook when I got home..

so here is us driving around Kemer to find this Burger King..!!!!!!!!! well we found it after asking the local taxi drivers and it was very busy with Turkish customers..and I did not see any tourists..

it goes for the many BK''s here in Antalya too very popular with the turks and teenagers etc..

Another place that is beyond me..is the Starbucks coffee..as not only are they expensive in Turkey but usually packed with older teenagers and a few locals..however the tourists do frequent them as well..there are about 5 Starbucks in Antalya now...and I must admit I loveeeee the large cups of coffee..

it just shows that the western influences are taking Turkey over slowly and surely..
