Webcam for Kalkan

Hi,

How about a webcam over looking the harbour, main street etc etc, you get the idea.

I don''t know how much money this would cost ( say members chip in £5 each, if needed ) or how hard / easy it would be, or if there is anyone in Kalkan who knows how or would be willing to set one up, all I do know is that it would be great, and really good for would be renters looking at EK.

Thoughts please ? ? ?

How about asking BariÅŸ? He sells technology products from his shop in the old Belidye building. A webcam pointing down the main street towards the Moonlight bar would be ideal.

Everything is in place at EK''s end for the webcam, the problem is getting commitment from someone to allow their bandwidth to be used to stream the video from Kalkan

Hi Jon,

Cant "WE" EK members pay for all of it, it cant cost a lot between so many people, I''m sure one of the shops, bars,etc etc, would love to have it on their building, if we told them that it would say on EK, that the webcam is mounted at this or that place, what business would turn that down ? ? ?

Anyway it would be really good for local business''s, so we should gain their support, I would hope !
