Buildings and contents
« on: November 27, 2008, 08:04:10 AM »
My insurance is due for renewal but my first year was set up by my solicitor so have no experience of this. Its due in December but not going out until March so I was thinking of using Intasure. Does anyone have experience of using them? I would welcome any advice. Thanks

We have insurance from them, price is okay, procedure was easy and we got public liability as well. I hope we never need to see how good they are when I make a claim.

I do my basic Dask insurance with Ali Tunc and then all other insurance with Intasure. The basic DASK cover is... very basic..... and Intasure then top it up to a more useful level.

I am going to ask a question that may seem silly as I am new to this but here goes. Do I have to have Dask insurance bought in Turkey through a Turksih company as well as the cover from Intasure. Is it mandatory or a legal requirement?
Thanks for your help with this
Regards

Intasure can arrange your DASK insurance at the same time as your buildings and contents ins. They arrange the DASK thru'''' one of their Turkish associates, they will ask you the cubic meterage of your building and work everything out as to the required coverage. It can all be done over the telephone. For us it meant we had all the documents in our possession and we were in control of our own affairs . . . . for the first two years of ownership we never saw our insurance documents and if we had needed to make a claim that could have been a problem.
