Adda Transfers

Just booked the transfer with Adda for September and informed by them that they only wait for half an hour after your flight lands at the terminal. If you are later coming through you must ring a number provided by them. This is a first for us having had dozens of transfers with them.
Not overly impressed with them this time, they don''t seem very helpful at all. Anyone else had similar instructions from Adda recently

We collected an Adda car from the airport after a 3 hour flight delay and there was no problem at all.  However, when we hired from them later on in our holiday the car didn''t turn up on time at our apartment.  3 hours and 4 phone calls later it arrived.  I think it was a misunderstanding between ourselves and Adda, but this was made worse by the lady on the phone who didn''t speak very much English and kept telling me "It''s on its way", when they were actually expecting us to collect the car from the office.  
There was also a query with the paperwork regarding the amount of fuel in the car but that was sorted out with a phone call.  

Half an hour is certainly not enough to get through the airport, but I can''t see Adda coming all the way to Dalaman and leaving without their passengers.  Maybe it''s to save them standing right outside but they won''t be far away.

Leave this with me and I shall sort this out, it is very unusual to have any problems with Adda which is why EK teamed up with them to offer some very attractive discounts.

Just to add that whereas Adda used to collect you five hours before flight depature on the return transfer to Dalaman, that is now down to four hours. New road and the tunnel?

We''ve always been collected 4 hours before departure time by Adda.  Allowing 2 hrs for the journey and a 2 hr check-in.  Though I have recollections of a 3 hr check-in after 9/11 when airport security was at its highest.

Hi Jon,

Have you any more info about Adda only waiting for 30 minutes at Dalalman? I have a transfer booked with them on Wednesday which I booked in the Adda office last month, and have not been informed of any changes from previous transfers.

Hi Everyone,

Due to the cost of parking at Dalaman the Adda drivers will be waiting just outside the airport until your scheduled collection time - At your collection time they shall be ready and waiting outside the terminal for you in the usual place. If you are very early you can ring the number and they shall be there ready for you, likewise if you are very late they will then come into the airport and be ready for you.

This change is to try and keep prices the same throughout season despite the increases in fuel.

Hi Jon thanks for that.  Just on the subject of Adda and the airport do you have up to date directions for the drive to Kalkan.  I know Adda will leave a map in the car however the instructions that you have are very clear, except they now need updated because of the new road and the Suzuki garage that is no longer! Cheers.

Hi jon.. i booked through EK.....luckily i tried to confirm details shortly before we flew as iv''e been stranded before(not Adda)...the man in the office said phone you back and didn''t..i contacted them twice more and was told the same...in the end Ossie from Alternativ went to see them and confirmed the details were lost!! won''t use them again

Thanks for letting me know Blue Lizard, I shall take this up with them now and find out exactly what happened. If anyone else has any issues please let me know. EK is fully independent and it is important I am made aware of any issues.
