I was just reading another forum about Australia and they had a great thread entitled "Where is the most romantic place in........."

So, I thought it may be interesting to start it on here, especially with all the fantastic restaurants, views and photo spots in Kalkan. So, the question is...... Where is the most romantic place in Kalkan?

My OH proposed to me in Ibo''s restaurant, it was very embarrassing but very romantic, we had fireworks, cake, the lot!!

It Just has to be the Mahal...having dinner at a candlelit table , on a private platform, just inches away from the sea. It always makes us feel like we''re on a "Jame''s Bond" set.!!! Pure Romance!

I think just looking at Kalkan under the stars and all those twinkling lights at night and of course the moon shining down on the sea is just so romantic.

I also love sitting at Cafedelmar with a coffee and watching the world go by listening to Turkish music very peacefull.

Ho and walking arm in arm round the winding streets in the old town at night,( so i don''t fall over of course) feeling we are twenty something again.

I agree nightime is just magical in kalkan. Villa Mahal is such a special place. We are staying at Easgles Nest which is just immediately above Villa Mahal.It was an old hotel which has now been converted into beautiful apartments.Sitting in the Jacuzzi on the terrace at night looking over towards Kalkan and the lights twinkling like stars, a chilled glass of Lal and I am in heaven.Very romantic.

You''re so lucky to at the Eagles Nest let alone have an apartment with a jacuzzi Do you own or rent? If rented who did you rent through as we would be interested to get more info :-)
