Kalkan Regency Turkish Bath
« on: June 28, 2008, 03:47:02 PM »
Hi there
Does anyone have the email address or telephone number for the Kalkan Regency as I would like to make a booking for a turkish bath.
I believe the cost is about £18 per person. Does this include a massage or do you have to pay extra for this?
Also do they provide a pick up and return service to your accomodation?
Thanks
Kislablue

What's this about? Do you have to be stopping at the hotel to get a Turkish bath/massage? Is it actually in Kalkan?  ??? Questions, questions, questions!!!  ;D

Katieh

just to clarify this post for you - the Regency Hotel has a wonderful Turkish bath and beauty salon located on the lower ground floor of the hotel.

No, you don't have to be a resident of the hotel to book a turkish bath or any other beauty treatment. n.b. treatments are available for men and women.

No they don't provide a pick up/return you have to get there under your own steam!

There is a massage included within the actual ritual of the turkish bath but it is not as thorough or penetrating as booking separately after having the hamam experience. Plus if you book a separate massage treatment you can specify what you want i.e. aromatherapy, head and shoulders only etc. This applies to all the other turkish baths around Kalkan.

The Regency Hotel is found along the Kalamar road, past the Asfiye and off to the left before the road goes up the hill to the bay.

Wherever you choose to go, it's always good and if done at the beginning of the holiday it definitely helps to deepen and prolong your tan as well as being a great way to relax and unwind.....
Enjoy!!
