Hi Everyone

I have just booked up to go to Kalkan for the first time in September - just finalised my villa booking today and really looking forward to visiting.  This site looks fantastic - a mine of information, so I look forward to browsing round and finding out as much as I can.  I am going with a friend who has been before and tells me it is wonderful - I guess all you guys think the same!  Can''t wait to go and it''s only May!!!

Hello Pat..wow are you in for treat!! you have picked a smashing place .i''m sure you will become hooked like the rest of us on here,you can look forward to september and your first glimpse of Kalkan as you come round the hill road that leads down to it!!

just on a point of order, blue lizard, do you know if you still get that ''smack in the gob'' view of Kalkan when you come down the new road? other than thru Akbel?    Bill

I was in kalkan last week Bill,dont know about the view,the new road just looked a blot on the landscape,a right mess,looked nowhere near finished.    Neil .

Would look forward to seeing it as I arrive if I wasn''t arriving late at night - bit disappointing.  I''ll be leaving in the dark on the way back too!! I''ll just have to get out and about while I am there.
