Dionysia Hotel/Apart
« on: May 24, 2008, 02:18:35 PM »
Anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kalkan, I would highly recommend The Dionysia Hotel.  Just along the road from the Simera Gardens and Korsan the hotel staff are very friendly and accommodation is good. The hotel rooms are basic but comfortable but I normally stay in one of their apartments.  They sleep 2, but the staff will happily add a bed if required, and are fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine and cooker should you wish to stay home one evening. They also have a 2 bedroomed villa for rent (again they will add more beds if needed) which is on the poolside.  For those who have been before this year they have made major improvements to the poolside snack menu - even offering a full English breakfast for those who want it!!
Not to be missed is the Turkish BBQ night held once a week on the poolside, the waiters are happy to demonstrate their traditional dancing skills  ;D
I am not sure of the address but they do have a website which comes up with google.

Does anyone know if the rooms at the Dionysia have air con? I have read one or two conflicting reports.
Thanks

I stayed there in May last year and noticed that they did have air con in the rooms but didn''t need to use it at that time.

Phew! That''s fantastic news, thank you. Normally I visit in September/Oct and don''t need air con then but due to school hols this is the first time I have considered braving the heat of July. It''s very reassuring to know there is air con! I fly out tomorrow and can now relax!
