We returned home last night (boo hoo) but had a wonderful time as usual in Kalkan. As regular visitors we have eaten at a great many of the restaurants and have had some lovely meals. Our favourites this time have been:
Geronda - excellent as usual, a bit more expensive than most but lovely atmosphere and setting
Kaya - Good food, friendly and welcoming staff
Rendez-Vous - Excellent good value food (particularly enjoyed the seabass) roof terrace has been upgraded to include a nice new bar area. Internet access is also available. Ewan and Mucu (Muju) are delightful.
Vito Cafe - Newly opened this year along Kalamar road just before Yelkin appts. We had several breakfasts here very good fresh food. They also make sandwiches to take away, much better and cheaper than Dalaman airport! (IMHO) Internet access is also available here.
Fish Farm - Not sure of the name but it''s near a flour mill (perhaps someone could help) bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort. Very basic looking but food fab lots of fresh salads, cheese and fresh trout yum.
Back to doing the cooking myself now, not the same somehow but we are back again in July (7 weeks 3 days - not that I''m counting)
