S anyone know if they are allowed to be taken into turkey? We got them confiscated in Dubai from our hand luggage as illegal there and i dont want the same to happen again.  I am struggling to find official info.  Thanks

We use E cigs and have brought them here for a couple of years here with no problems. We even saw them for sale in a shop near akin. Don't know good they would be though.

We went to Dubai earlier this year and were fine with them. Must be the luck of the draw in Dubai. I did dismantle them though and put the liquid cartridge into the clear bag with the rest of my liquids so don't know if that helped in Dubai. In turkey we just carry them as normal ie don't dismantle them but still put them in the clear bag with liquids along with lipstick perfume moisturiser etc.

I took mine into dalaman in June with no probs it was just in my handbag .. The liquid in them is within the liquid allowance, don't know if I would trust to buy one in Kalkan as a local told me they are not regulated like ours.

Glad this came up as I was about to ask...I have just started using E cigs and must say I really quite like it..it's healthier and allows me still to be in my circle of buddys many of whom smoke..i am using E Shisha which currently I have Double Apple ,Grapefruit,Watermelon,and Jack Daniels &coke flavours...I was going to ask if the flavour oils are available but I guess I will bring my own just in case

Would imagine the flavour oils are BL but wd defo take yr own anyway, I have been using since February this year and have not touched a cig since as u say it's great to b able to puff without having to ostracise yourself from everyone else ... Happy puffing everyone

Have taken my e-cigs to Kalkan for the last two years on 5 separate occasions no problem. I just put them in the little plastic bags as requested at Manchester. I haven't actually seen anywhere over there where I can buy any though. In fact, I've even taken some over to Turkish friends at their request so I'm not sure they've even taken off there in the same way as they have over here. They seem to be something of a curiosity to locals as I am regularly asked about them and have given quite a few little demonstrations as to how they work.
