Hi can anyone tell me how long it takes to send a small package from kalkan to uk, and how reliable the postal service is please?

For sending a letter taking & handing it to the PTT counterstaff, it takes approx 10-14 days, this we have found out of season,  & this is normal postage paid.  You can pay extra for quicker service we understand but haven't tried it. Have also found using bigger town PTT offices things move quicker.

We have had a small package sent to us in the UK from Kalkan last year and it took just under 4 weeks.

As we live here we use the PTT quite often, for just sending non urgent things back to the UK have foundd no undue propblems.  May be a good idea to ask at the PTT for advice re different services. Just remember though they will be shut for Bayram now till possiblty Monday.
