Tennis in Kalkan
« on: July 07, 2015, 10:19:40 AM »
Hi my name is Tommy,

Does anyone know if we will be able to play Tennis anywhere in Kalkan. My son is very keen to keep up his practice and if it is not too warm I am happy to play with him. Is there anywhere in Town where you can play and if so are there costs to hire courts, rackets etc ?

We are returning for a second year later this month and think we saw courts somewhere but can't be sure.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum, Keyst.
This subject has been raised before - There used to be tennis courts at Patara Prince which were open to non-residents - not sure if they are still there? Does anyone know if LaVanta have courts..?
Neither are in the centre of town but Patara Prince would be closest.
Use the search facility above and type in "tennis", hopefully that will give you the other information you have asked regarding price etc.
Good luck

If you have a friend who plays with you on the Club Patara courts it is free.  If not, we paid TL 90 / hour last year for 2 people (they charge per person) and the courts are in bad condition.  If you play at night, last year it was double that price for the lights.  We never went again.
