I wouldn't bother K4E......second of those programmes I've watched and shan't bother with the rest! They made a fleeting visit to Aya Sofia.....I know I've spelt that wrong......and the rest was just boys being boys!!

What a shame, I also was looking forward to watching that on catch up. Don't think I'll bother now.

What I learned was Tripe Soup is not very nice......but Raki is very nice...you get your ears burned when you have a barber shop experience,and a ticket on the Bosphorus ferry is 84 p... The old Orient Express is rebranded and still goes to Istanbul from Paris and 6 days cost just shy of £6,000!! and they batter you in the Turkish bath....,the Bazaar is very big ...
there you don't need to watch it now!!
Not the interesting cosmopolitan, fascinating place I remember. Not as friendly as Kalkan but like any large city bustling and tireless (with a smattering of pickpockets )

....oh I know how much the Orient Express costs to Istanbul as I looked into it for BH's 50th . Think it only goes once or twice a year. The thing that put me off....other than the mortgage I'd have to take out to pay for it...there are no shower facilities on the train - even in the best cabins all you have is a mini sink. I just couldnt see myself going 6 days without a shower...as much as I love BH and he loves Poirot. All that dosh and everyone will be wiffy
