Large villa or separate apartments?

Hi, I'm looking for some advice. We're coming to Kalkan this summer and bringing friends with us this time. Can anyone recommend a large villa close to the centre (will need to sleep 12) or do you think we'd be better looking at trying to rent 3 separate apartments in the same block? If the latter, any suggestions? We will have 5 children in our group so needs to be close to centre for walking into town and have a shop close by for the daily ice cream runs!! Thanks in advance. x

I think to avoid any unwanted tension 3 appts would be better, but you might struggle to find 3 in the same block available unless you are out of school holidays.  There is a poster on here that has a fab large villa however".......i will PM you the details if i can find it.

If you decide on separate apartments, The Truffle apartments directly in front of me have 5 lovely modern apartments in the block and are right in the centre of town with great views. You can Google them.  I have a similar apartment in the block behind but I don't take children under 12 I'm afraid.

If you decide on the apartment option for your group them the Emir apartments would be ideal.
There are 19 privately owned apartmets to choose from offering from one to three bedrooms. There are two swimming pools, over looking the bay.  The Emir apartments are only 200m from the Yali supermarket, five minutes walk into the centre of Kalkan and 10 minutes to the harbour, so no need for a taxi.  Just search for Emir Kalkan on the internet and you will find owners that advertise on Owners Direct and Holiday Lettings.

We are having our 3rd year at emir and just love it. Its location is fab....the views are even better! Cant find the big villa details....sorry!
