Lol, after reading some of the forum and choosing our avatar (pic depicts how we feel in England). Looking forward to visiting Kalkan for 2 weeks for the first time next week.  We have been to Turkey (Olu Deniz and Ovacik 4 times before). Hubbies mission is to find good food, couple sherberts and good company ( )  My mission is same but enjoy the challenge of learning odd phrases and abit of culture thrown in for good luck ...

You will have a great time..... As the others have said, there is a wealth if knowledge available here, so don't be afraid to ask any questions. Just go with plenty of sun cream and stamina - the hills can feel brutal in the heat - plus elasticated trousers ....... Oh and bicarbonate of soda for if your hair goes green in the pool.....see my holiday report for more info!
