old Atlantis restaurant

Have read somewhere think it was KTlN that what was previously the Atlantis on the Kalamar road is now serving Indian and chinese cuisine, both downstairs and on the rooftop, also take-away, can't recall the name. Can anyone shed any light on this and if so is it any good ?? Thanks.

Hi Clara 50

The old Atlantis is now called the Asian Gate. We were lucky enough to try a taster menu in April before it opened and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately I was suffering from a stomach bug so couldn't do it justice, but the rest of my family tucked in with gusto. Our girls really enjoyed the pizza and huge quarter pounder burgers they do as well as as the Asian cuisine and despite my tummy troubles - I remember the salt and pepper chicken was really really scrummy and I can't wait to tuck in again when we are back in august!

It's good but remember that in an evening they only serve Indian & Chinese food - nothing else!!

Burgers etc are at lunchtime only

Excellent Indian and Chinese food with good service. I can highly recommend this restaurant of you fancy a change from the usual fayre.
