Dogs - into/out of Kalkan

Right - so, hubby takes early retirement at the end of April. We were talking about spending more time at the Villa. We have three Jack Russells and don't want to leave them for ages.
I thought about driving down, staying however long then driving back. Along with the dogs.
What are the rules? Much as I hate them I know they are there!
Has / does anyone else do this?
What do we do with all the personal stuff from our house? We would rent it out probably.
Any thoughts no matter how obscure taken into consideration!
What would we do with our time? I am a photographer here in the UK - of horses, dogs and their humans. Not many horses in Kalkan!
