Nice Photographs

Hello everybody,

Only been on here 2 minutes and already asking for favours!!! does anybody have any nice photos that they wouldnt mind me using on my website, i need photos of the village itself either in the day or the night time.  If you do and dont mind sharing them please forward to my mail address Adelehunt@hotmail.co.uk

Why don''t you just copy and paste and download from the many websites that we all have and are on Kalkan in general....although - I know Jon''s photos all have copyright on them...

From a Web Designers point of view I wouldn''t take Felicity''s advice. Wait until someone gives your permission.  It''s good mannered.

Pasha  - Maybe someone will let you have some photos, if not I would suggest that if you want to get some good photos then you either get them for a ligitimate place with permission, or take some when you are in Kalkan next - good luck - you shouldnt have a problem taking lovely photos in Kalkan!

Felicity - I for one would be very, very annoyed if someone copied and pasted my photos without even asking. This is very bad manners. I previously had someone copy my text word for word and I had to contact that person and the website concerned to get it rectified.

I quite agree regarding copying pictures......I would like to enquire as to where the EnjoyKalkan.com logo photograph came from while we are on this subject!

The EnjoyKalkan Logo photographs and all images on the EnjoyKalkan website have all been supplied to EnjoyKalkan on CD from Turkish friends in Kalkan prior to EnjoyKalkans launch on the 5/5/07 and are not "stolen" as per your suggestion. Likewise, the EnjoyKalkan logo and branding are (c)EnjoyKalkan

Photos submitted by members of EnjoyKalkan to the postcard section and gallery remain the copyright of the original photographer however are EnjoyKalkan branded to protect against image theft. If you wish to have more information about data protection and copywrite or indeed how EnjoyKalkan protects your data please do not hesitate to contact safety@enjoykalkan.com

I''ve got a complete CD of them plus a web site of them on google, which when I can find the link I will pass on. You are more than welcome to use them as long as you mention Goytre Photographic or Bohemia Images, I don''t mind which!
Look out too for the new CD which will be on sale to raise money for the cats n dogs.

Apologies for insinuating that your logo photograph was "stolen".  Very generous of Turkish friends to pass on such lovely pictures-I am not entirely sure that Turkey and the law of copyright go hand in hand............

I do not agree with taking other people photographs when they spend their time to take them.  This is my original photograph used as kalkan forum logo, please remove it from this page

Are you sure it''s yours? I''ve taken shots from this angle too plus I can''t see Jon using anyone else''s. Personally I''d be chuffed to bits if it were one of mine - especially if it had Bohemia Images on it!

    or if you want that picture you must buy first canon camera £ 1200  and than learn to use and wake up one morning at 6 ,go to kalkan harbour and take the picture your self.

Feridun, this feels like a private matter that should be taken up with Jon and I dont think is a good use of a public forum.  By continuing to Take a private matter onto a forum in this way could start to look like you have a personal agenda. Hope you don''t mind me pointing this out!
