Lizo Pension and Missing Aparthotel
« on: February 22, 2008, 04:55:16 PM »
Hi I am new here so thank you for setting up this wonderful site.

I have booked to stay at the above property on 9th May for two weeks.  Can anybody advise if this is a good choice and also what the weather is likely to be like so early on and if the season has properly begun.

We are also looking to return to the area in September for a special birthday and I have been trying without success to locate an aparthotel that used to be on the internet that also ran Gulet cruises.  It had three blocks was adult only and I think only eight rooms per block around a central swimming pool.  It was between Kalkan and Kas.

I was sure it was called Kas villas but have been unable to find it and wondered if it had closed or was now under a different name.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Again thanks again for fab site.

Love

Gail

Hi Gail
The Lizo is just down the road from our apartment. It is a small and very friendly hotel. The fod is good and there are great views from the roof terrace restaurant. All in all a good choice for a smaller type hotel. You will find some reviews on this link:

Sorry but I can''t help with your second point.
Weather is likely to be warming up in May (we will be there from the 5th), but perhaps a bit chilly in the eveneings. Most places will be open as the season is underway from May.
