Too right, 10 years of promoting the place and using the restaurants of Calis and I got more drinks on the house during a week in Spain than I ever got in a year in Turkey!

How do you think Kalkan bars / restaurants rate on this issue ?

I think they fair reasonably well........Went to Touch Bistro in early May ( knew them from last year ) for drink and omlette.Chef not yet on site to cook (slightly to early in season ) so we stayed for a drink........which to our pleasant surprise was on the house as we were unable to eat.

We go fairly often to Alternatif and they always give us a free Efes.If you went just the once then i am not sure you would get  one,so i guess it may be partly to do with the amount of custom you give them.

I thinking hard and the Only place we Always get a free drink is Coast....I will keep thinking  though

Onelove - I was given to understand that anyone visiting Tanzone are given as many free drinks as they want - is this true??

We had free coffees and liqueurs Sunday night in Sofra's

Most of the restaurants in Kalkan give free nibbles to start with and many also give free coffee or cay.I dont think we do too badly here.

Kosk used to give free drinks after a meal which was usually served in small, coloured glasses

Can't think of any place that does not offer some sort of small starter when you are ordering your meal.  Be this olives, breads, mezes etc. Each restaurant seems to have its' own little thing.  After most meals we are offered a free liquer/tea/coffee/Turkish delight.  We have had many complimentary drinks of our choice in many of the restaurants in Kalkan including Aubergine, Mussaka, Doy Doy etc  A few times we've even been given a complimentary bottle of wine with our meal. Though we probably have spent quite a bit of money in those places over the years!  As has already been said I think we do very well in Kalkan.
