I've failed to find them for the last few years. Used to be able to get ordinary candle sized ones in the UK but now can only get the small floating candle type which are not much use or the great big ones that are too heavy to carry. It would be great if we could get them in Kalkan they definitely seem to keep the blighters at bay.

You could definitely buy them a few years ago but not seen any for tha last three seasons....despite an extensive search. I brought some citronella tea lights with us last year and hid the ones we had left in the hope they would still be here when we returned. Sadly, someone must have discovered them and helped themselves.... >:(
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

The candles we got were white, in a plastic holder with a crossed out mozzie on them. Not sure if they were citronella or not...but I didn't get a single bite and OH only got bitten on our last day and normally mozzies fly for 100s of miles to chew him.  We also find Skin So Soft works well for us, doesn't seem to work for everyone though.
