Yes! Try the market and some of the supermarkets have them too. I think I've seen them in Erdem supermarket at the harbour (near aubergine) and I would imagine that souvenir shops will sell them too. I'm also going to be on the hunt for one too so please let me know if you find a good one.  :)

Hi Michelle, we bought a fab one at the Spice stall in the market last year, has some wonderful recipes in it too, have used it a lot.  Wasn't too heavy to transport home either, all in colour and inexpensive. Also its Thursday tomorrow so Market day if you are venturing there.  :) 8) 8)

Hope your having a great holiday.

Ah Jayne went to the market and didn't think of looking there. Have seen a few in shop's earlier mentioned so now just need to decide which one. X

Hi Michelle my daughter in law bought me the most beautiful cookery book called Turkey Recipes and Tales from the road,  it was bought in the UK not cheap at £25 but a book to treasure, worth looking at when you get home.  Hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

I've got a good one that I bought at Desti a few years ago - you get a free Kalkan calendar with it too :) He has them on display in front of the till - it's called something like 'Mama's home-cooking'

I bought one from Desti gift shop last year it was written by the shop owner who signed the book for me.  It's home cooked Turkish food and I love the Prawn Casserole.
