New Zeus boat
« on: May 31, 2013, 11:55:57 PM »
I emailed Tracy to book our private rental for Zeus and she advised they have a new boat? She sent pics and it looks great but will report back after our trip last week in June.

We're not long back from a fabulous day out with Ali on the new Zeus.  We had all 15 metres of this gorgeous boat to ourselves. Felt like we'd won the lotto - I wish

Lots of areas to sit and sprawl in the sun snoozing, reading, snoozing. I've no idea why a day out at sea doing nothing is so exhausting!

There was a stiff breeze and quite a swell but is was no problem for Zeus.  Left at 09:30 and at about 10 stopped for Turkish breakfast. Magic.  First swim of the day, shall we say "refreshing". But once used to the water temperature it was bliss swimming in the crystal clear azure waters.  Off to another stop and delicious smells emanated from the galley. Lunch was about 13:00 or so.  Oh my.  I'd forgotten what an amazing cook Ali is!  Salads, aubergine and sauted potatoes, bean salad with tomato and garlic, a kind of ratatouille, chicken escalope, grilled sea bass, fresh bread...superb.  More relaxing and swimming and then a bird stop for a platter of the ripest, freshest fruit and delicious choccy biccies and a lovely cup of tea.  Headed back to the harbour at about 17:30.

A brilliant day all for 400TL.  Incredible value, although the price will rise when the season really kicks in.  Worth every kurus.  Ali is lovely and his mate Mehmet is a sweetheart.  If you're lucky and the wind's in the right direction they'll raise the spinnaker, turn of the engine and sail home.  Magic.
