Best pubs/bars in Kalkan

Get ready to be innundated with Choices...it's a difficult one because what i might like some one else might not, some people like a bit of music,some might like a quieter feel  ..half the fun is trying them out!!

I like a nice social pub with music, traditional turkish music and western music are both good.

Thanks for your post I will check out both while I am there, it is just sometimes you feel a little uncomfortable going into places on your own.  The good thing is I am pretty outgoing so I am sure I will make freinds.

The one I like is the Bezirgan Pub near theTaxi rang, good bar & music

Fener Bar which is on the harbour, last very reasonable prices both food and drink in a beautiful location.  I can't wait to come back.

Got to agree its Hard to better Fener, albeit Kelo is not far behind me thinks   

To be fair there are are lots of really nice bars in Kalkan / Kalamar Bay, your be spoilt for choice

Well I will be in Kalkan on Wednesday night so I am excited as this will be my first trip there and from all the posts it seems like kalkan is a great place to go.  I am looking forward to being able to sit outside and have a beer or wine as here in Islamabad, Pakistan where I work alcohol is not allowed.  I will have some freedom to go where I want and when I want yeahhhhhhhhhhh as it can be stressful working here sometimes due to security issues.

I am not sure which bar or pub to go to on my first night but as I am staying in the Haninn apartments in the town I am sure there will be some close by.

Hi, if you're staying at Haninn, then I think that parc Kalkan should be quite close. This is a very nice bar and eaterie with a friendly and welcoming crowd. You could maybe stop off there for a drink before you start to explore Kalkan. In summer there's usually entertainment ie vocalists etc. you could then make your way down to the moonlight bar which is just before you start to make your way into the old town. Again it's a very friendly and welcoming place and a great spot to people watch. Just be careful you don't slide down the slope if you get a bit tiddly!

You have chosen a great place to stay, Brenditaa. It's very central and the pool is fantastic - I'm sure you will love it. Besides Parc and Moonlight, mentioned by Lizilu, you are very close to Kaya which has a nice little bar area and the staff are incredibly friendly. If you are after a pub, as opposed to the bars, The Swan is very close to HanInn too. Come out of the rear or side doors of the complex and walk up towards the Yalihan Complex past the Asiyan hotel and the pub is on your right before Atlantis.

Hi Brenditaa have a lovely time.  There is a saying once you have been to Kalkan you will fall in love with the place and will want to go back.  It's true last year was our first time in Kalkan and five weeks today we will be back.
 Fener is a lovely bar for a spot of lunch and a couple of Efes, it's in a beautiful location.  Enjoy.  I can also recommend the Wednesday night BBQ at Cafe Vita, it's £10 with entertainment after, make sure u book a table as its very popular.

I tend to come to Kalkan on my own and always find Cafe Del Mar a very easy and relaxed place to be. Also and am sure others may have said this, boat trips are wonderful and very reasonable about £18 for a day leaving approx 10am returning at 5pm lunch tae cake and coffee included    I like to go on 2 in the week as it gives me a chance to meet people and discuss restaurants and things to do and laugh a lot!

One of my favourites is Yakamoz down on the harbour..bottom of center  steps L/H side...Large comfy throne seats to sit spying from and Jimmy is very kind

Have to go for Kleo, it's our first port of call in the evening, you can't beat sitting on the sofa there watching kids and dogs on the beach with a mojito for me and efes for OH waiting for the sun to go down.
