The first McD in Kalkan

Does anyone remember the first McD in Kalkan? My husband was looking through old photos and found one he took in 2004 of the little food van on spare land along Kalamar Road, on the right hand side before you got to the Asfiya Hotel. He called his van McDullah with the same McDonalds big M and he had a tiny plastic table with 2 chairs and in the evening he put a table cloth and candle on it. I must get my husband to post the picture.

i remember it, it was a VW camper van, the man that used to have it still lives in Kalamar, he drives about in a white beetle or on a bike now.

The picture is now in the gallery and it just reminds you what Kalkan was like less than 10 years ago. We have tried to work out what is now on the spare land he used but can't remember exactly where he was.
