Just wondering what the weather's like at the moment.  I only get to check the webcams at this time of day, not much help really 

Picked up a bargain in Tesco today - beach shoes reduced to £1 a pair for mine and 75p for the kids  .  At least I won't be hobbling down to the sea (hopefully it'll be warm enough) in an unladylike fashion!  The OH, well he's invested in flippin floppen for the first time - he's reliably informed me they're for the beach only!

Looking forward that first Efes/milkshake of the holiday.....

Hi - we too are counting the sleeps and the days - we depart Stansted on Monday (24th) and cant wait!   I will definitely give Tesco a call for the bargain sea shoes - I detest walking on stones/beach pebbles of any kind, my OH doesnt seem to mind, but I like comfort!   The weather forecast for next week looks generally warm 25/26 degs and the sea temperature looks good also.  Hope you have a fantastic time with your family - might bump into you on the beach!

Once you have mastered the Flippen Floppen there is no going back..such a versatile thing....waft it for cool air..splat a bug...let your feet breathe ..you can even cuff naughty kids ...have a great time!!

Hi BL  - think I might keep my flippen floppen handy for my OH just in case the sundowners  are a bit slow in appearing!

 I will bear that valuable flip floppen advice in mind!!  Once wore my flip floppers in the the sea at Kalkan beach it was a particularly rough day and I watched as one of the sailed merrily out to sea!  Will try sea shoes this time!

Thanks for the advice BL.  I can see the flippen floppen coming in very handy to whack the OH around the head every time I head off to peruse the silverware and he  as me!!
