Why are men so crazy about soccer?

Hi friends,
I am going crazy now. Everyone around me is talking about the World Cup now. At home, my brother sits steadily in front of the TV and watches the games. Sometimes, I am waken up by his screams. In my office, my male colleagues chat about the World Cup so happily. Some of them even stay up at night to watch the games and then get back to work next day. Surprisingly, they are not sleepy during the working hours. They are toooo excited. Even those guys who look shy become talkative when talking about World Cup.

What’s wrong with these men? Are they gonna crazy? I am fed up with World Cup.

Nothing annoys me more...well perhaps people who take a full trolley into the 10 items or less queue in Tesco...than the suggestion that its only men who watch football, like football, understand football, follow football
I also don't like people (of both sexes) who pretend to like football when big tournaments are on like the World Cup. I know who took time off to watch England's afternoon kick off a week or so ago when they've never followed the game in their lives...what a waste of an afternoon that was
I'm that "strange breed of woman" who likes football enough to have a season ticket, but who also likes the dead cow strapped over my shoulder, George Clooney, Sex and the City, most reality TV but loathes the Soaps (sorry BL, not all women can be a**ed with Corrie etc..)
I hate labels and boxes......unless of course the label is designer and the box is a small turquoise one that says Tiffany's

The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire.
 
Both of you have forgotten your purses.
 
It would be totally rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.
 
The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.
 
Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma. She prepares to throw her purse to you.
 
If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes.
 
At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and, *whilst it is in flight* you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes.
 
Always remembering that until the purse had *actually been thrown* it would be plain wrong to be forward of the other shopper.

BL, the way Liverpool played last season I think I'd keep the titchy Tiffany's box ....Misty, I'm able to reverse into the tiniest of spaces (in my large car  ) especially if there's a man with a girl's username in my way..
