Glad to say that by and large British tourists don't seem responsible for a lot of the litter that is in and around Kalkan imo..Turks seem to chuck things out of car windows and instead of putting stuff in the bin leave it beside it why would you do that? several times on Patara beach we have picked up rubbish left by Turkish people as we leave..(bins are available here too) Turkish man near where we stay slows down and throws his bin bags out onto side of the road! In fact the only people I see using the bins by where we stay (mixture of Turkish and rental/homes)are ex pats or British tourists! ::)
